LOOK UP THE LOGO FOR FEDEX (YAY, USING GOOGLE IN CLASS)
WHY DO YOU THINK THEY CHOSE THESE SPECIFIC COLORS FOR THIS SPECIFIC FONT?
WHAT DO THE COLORS REPRESENT AND IS THERE A REASON FOR THE TWO COLORS TO BE USED TOGETHER?

  1. I think orange and blue were picked as the specific colors for the Fedex logo is because blue puts forth a dependable loyal feeling. Orange is associated with happiness and is one of the brightest colors which brings people's attention to the logo. The two colors are used together because they are complimentary colors (opposite on the color wheel). The combination is eye-catching and draws people in.

  2. Fedex uses purple in the "Fed" which is associated with wealth, prosperity, rish sophistication, wisdom etc. Meaning that Fedex is a superior company. Fedex uses orange in "ex" which is associated with fun times, happy and energetic days, warmth and organic products. It is also associated with ambition. Meaning that Fedex is really willing to get the job done right.

  3. I think FedEx chose to use the colors blue and orange for their logo because blue is the color of dependability and loyalty and orange is a bright vibrant color that drags your eye to the logo and it is associated with ambition. The colors work well together because they are opposite each other on the color wheel.

  5. FedEx uses the colors dark blue/purple and orange. Blue meaning dependability, purple meaning wealth and prosperity. Mix those together and you have the FED part. Orange is associated with fun, wartmth and organic products also is associated with ambition. That would be the EX part. Fed-ex is what you get boys and girls. :)
